member of my reading committee. You can tell it's official since it's
in triplicate.
A couple chapters of my thesis are finished now, but I think it would
be best for me not to send them to you until an entire first draft is
ready. That will be around the time you plan on being at PARC, so I
may as well just drop it off to you there.
By the way, I enjoyed the Turing award lecture. It
clarified the "heuristic search hypothesis" at just the time I was
writing about it in my thesis (%2ergo%* expect to see a quote or two
